More than 50 textile artworks from the 1880’s to the 1960s were exhibited for the first time in Shanghai at LE MAGASIN DE CONNAISSEUR, the private gallery of Hermes China president. The exhibition drew a circle of sophisticated clientele to the luxurious and beautiful 1930s building in the French concession area in Shanghai. Mr. Radford opened the show by sharing HANRAD’s history and its ongoing commitment to discover hidden treasures. Mr. Gao Feng, the gallery owner and a former Hermes China president, congratulates Mr. Radford and HANRAD for their commitment and support for these amazing handcrafts and defined the works as “the true luxury”.
