Our association with HANRAD started with a visit to their gallery in Hamilton. This proved to be the turning point in our decision-making as the superb gallery display turned the experience from a rug purchase into an art purchase. Barry and Chao were consummate professionals in all matters associated with the purchase. Our purchase was very satisfying and one of the best art purchase decisions we have made. The rug enhances our summer house and lifts our mood every day. Our guests are always pleasantly surprised and comment on how stunning the rug looks.

It was just amazing to come across in Hamilton HANRAD Rugs. Barry came to our home and together we chose the design and colours. The design team went to work and we were blown away with the design! The wait to get the rug was worth it. We love our rug!

The excitement began with a walk around the beautiful show room. Each rug is unique, a beautiful combination of art and natural fibres. The expectation of delivery: as promised the rug arrived in the expert hands of Barry, and just like that it became part of our home. It complements the room without dominating, and it is very comfortable under foot. I smile as guests describe how beautiful the rug is and how nice it is to walk on or just rest your feet on. We are very happy with our rug and the service provided by Barry and the team at HANRAD.

Judy and I were lucky to walk past your shop on a trip to Hamilton and were amazed at the quality and variation of rugs you had on display. These are not your usual rugs but are a work of art made with outstanding quality. Barry agreed to hold the rug that took our eye and he photoshopped it into photos we sent of different locations in our house. The bold design and colour brightness was something we had to come to terms with. Barry persuaded us it would look great and he and Chao delivered the rug to us in Tauranga. Once in place we were amazed how great it looked and how it tied in with our other art work and lifted the room. I recently commissioned HANRAD Rug Gallery to produce a rug for me, inspired by one of my own paintings. After having my painting photographed, we carefully chose all the corresponding wool colours, to capture the essence of the artwork. The resulting rug is a huge success, and I am very proud to see my painting recreated in wool and silk. It is now the center piece of my lounge. I can't thank Barry and Chao enough for their commitment to the project.

Remarkable is a word that comes to mind. You and your works are unique in the market. Both of you create a lovely spirit of warmth, generosity and wonderful artistry. The way in which you both brought the rug to my home made me feel very very special. I loved that you seemed to understand how much the rug meant to me and that you were both so 'chuffed' for me. I feel honoured to be the recipient of the 'Raspberry Rug'. I’ve had a positive experience with Hanrad Bespoke Rugs, right from the start when choosing the colours and design of the rugs through to the end product. Barry came to our home with samples and colours and was very helpful with his suggestions on how the rugs would work in our home.
