HANRAD has just celebrated the first anniversary of the opening of the HANRAD BESPOKE RUG Gallery in Hamilton, and what an exciting year it has been! We are quite humbled by the way in which Hamilton has embraced us. Being recognised as the Best New Business in Hamilton’s CBD, by the Hamilton CBD Association, was a real achievement and our wonderful clients who have chosen to incorporate our gorgeous rugs into their home’s interiors has been so fulfilling.

What a fabulous night of celebration we had! So many people took the time to join us to celebrate the first year of the Hamilton Gallery. The evening included a live painting display headed by a group of artists including Ahsin Ahsin, Luca de-Andrad Odgers and Gaye Jurusich with many of our guests joining in to create a truly unique artwork. It was so much fun to watch and take part in and we did a lucky draw and gave the finished away to one of our guests. Sarah Charlie Rose sang a wonderful collection of jazz classics while we all mingled having a glass of bubbles and grazing away at the nibbles.

We are so excited about our next year as we continue to expand our rug collections working with more New Zealand artists and including more art exhibitions in the gallery!
