A Love Affair with Baccarat
Story
HANRAD was invited by the French luxury brand Baccarat to share the extraordinary achievements of the artist Wu Da Yu, who studied in Paris in 1922. Wu is regarded as one of the most significant Chinese artists of the 20th century. Experts from Wu Da Yu research center in Beijing presented a fascinating presentation on his life in Paris and his artistic approach to modern art and his impact on Chinese contemporary art. A handful of invited guesses viewed the art rug, 《Untitled 122》, from the Wu Da Yu collection, this was the first time we shared this design and the response from the guests was amazing.
