Grand Opening:
HANRAD BESPOKE RUGS’ collaboration with artist Chen Xin.
Story
Following the Residence project, HANRAD works closely with artist Chen Xin who graduated from Akademie der Bildenden Kunste Munchen Germany with MA in liberal arts, in translating his works into the most amazing and unique rugs. The challenge of reflecting these amazing use of colour and subtle colour transitions meant that a single design can include up to 40 colors! The dynamism and textural quality of the original artworks are represented through the use of many technical tufting techniques as well as the use of muti-height yarns and hand trimming finishes. This stunning work was chosen by Maxmarko, Mu Mei in Chinese, a leading Chinese high end local furniture brand, to display at their prestigious Beijing showrooms to coordinate with their latest collection.Location: Beijing, China
