Story
Audi’s annual design week draws more than 20,000 viewers to its showroom and is one of the most popular design events during “The Beijing Design Week”. Mr. Radford was commissioned to design and make a rug that reflected the design attributes of Audi. Taking the core concept of an unbroken line, which traditionally represents the concept of a unified world, and incorporating this into a rug design that reflected the functionality, elegance and precision that is inherent in Audi design he created the “Look Both Ways” design. The rug is made from New Zealand wool, Chinese silk, bamboo fibre and metallic thread, and is now part of the Audi China permanent collection.
