HANRAD believes that what ethnic minority people regard as “ordinary” things that they use in their everyday lives are actually extraordinary. It requires a fundamental understanding of other cultures and an absolute passion and commitment to identifying how these inspiring elements can be integrated to the modern world. Most importantly, it requires specific knowledge in art, design and history.  Mr. Han discusses how HANRAD has successfully achieved the balance between art, design and cultural relevance to showcase the “extraordinary” from what some might consider “ordinary” to its global clientele.
